Varun Tabla Vidyalaya is an institute to promote, propagate, teach the esoteric art of Traditional Tabla playing.
Learning music does not ONLY mean giving exams. Learning music has a lot of aspects. The major aspect is teaching and learning the correct technique. Getting the right finger and hand placement and tone, can take a couple of years. It needs some honest and consistent study.
Also, tabla is a percussion instrument that has a language of its own. Tabla has a lot of mathematics to master. Tabla needs one to be ambidextrous. Tabla needs one to be super consistent. Tabla needs a lot of concentration and everyday study, research, and physical practice. Varun Tabla Vidyalaya is one such initiative to teach the instrument of Tabla the right way. The Vidyalaya takes students through the entire learning process in a very disciplined manner.
What makes us better then the best ?
Varun Tabla Vidyalaya, also organizes two major events.
One event features all its students playing Tabla solo on stage. However junior or senior the disciple is, he/she needs to get a stage presence. And this is what the Vidyalaya does.
The other event features world-famous Indian Classical Musicians. This tabla school until now has organized events of artists like Pt. Aditya Kalyanpur, Pt. Ramdas Palsule, Pt. Rupak Kulkarni, Pt. Ravi Chary, Shri Manish Pingle and has given a stage to the younger lot of trained musicians like Shri. Charvak Jagtap, Smt. Kshitija Joshi, Shri Ashish Rane, Kumari Rutuja joshi etc...

Tabla learning and teaching initiative for anybody and everybody above the age of 5. Upwards age no bar.
